SHRINK WRAPPING
- To further protect your investment we recommend shrink wrapping your boat. This not only protects your boat from the weather elements but also serves to help keep the critters away. Our prices are based on the length of your boat.
- Compare our winterizing service with other companies!
Our outboard winterizing price includes summerizing! A lot of companies charge separately for this. At Wauconda Boat you can actually talk to the technician that will be preparing your boat and motor for winter. At this time you may express any further concerns you have regarding the performance and care of your boat and motor. Some issues may need immediate attention, while others may be able to wait until the next regular service.
- All boats and motors are not created equal!
Many companies charge a flat fee for every boat & motor that they receive for winterizing, service & storage. If a family has a smaller boat and motor combination (14' to 20'), that family can be stuck paying the same amount as a family with a larger boat & motor (24' to 38'). At the same time a family with a larger boat & motor may not receive the proper service that their motor requires. We do not calculate our fee this way. Different boats and motors require special and unique service. A smaller horsepower engine requires less lubricant/oils and different parts than its larger counterparts. On the other hand, larger engines can require more complex service, computer diagnostics and special service intervals and parts. Our technicians are factory certified to handle all situations.
Our focus is on personalized service and attention to unique details that meets the specific needs of the customer.
