FISHING TOURNAMENTS

JUNE 1 - Kid’s fishing derby held by Bangs Lake Management. Ages 4-15, 8-11 a.m. at the Park District.

AUGUST 3 - Wauconda Boat’s 9th Annual Bluegill Festival. This tournament is all about the fun of fishing - fun for kids too. 8 a.m. to noon.

FEBRUARY 7, 2009 - Wauconda Boat’s 9th Annual IceBusters Tournament.

OTHER STUFF

JULY 3 - Wauconda Fireworks. Rain date is July 4. Remember only one car per boat slip allowed to park that day. Launch is closed.

JULY 19 - Bangs Lake Venetian Night. No cost to participate. Decorate your boat and join the competition. Prizes awarded. Further details available at a later date.
